The 2009 Gala weekend

Vice Captain Alistair Creevy had a busy weekend, organising the annual Gala Weekend. Many thanks to all of our sponsors, especially SKYFORM, MERKLAND TANK and HALLEYS.

Merkland TankUnfortunately the Juniors Friday night Shotgun was rain affected, but after a hard fought competition Ryan Sloan won with a net 32. Ryan Clougherty and Andrew McNee both finished with a net 34. Well done boys! See all the results here.

SkyformIn the main event Walter Dobbin and his playing partner C Montgomerie won with a net 61.6. Walter was heard saying " Winning, it is not for the money, it is for the prestige!". Walter, understated as ever! Stephen McBeth and partner B McLaughlan finished joint second along with James Richardson and partner Harry Caffrey. Both teams finished with a net 64.4. See all the results here.

HalleysThe Sunday family Texas Scramble competition has been postponed; we will update you on the rearranged date as soon as we can.
